When you find yourself struggling, remember this story of the Apostles: huddled after the death of Jesus, and then empowered by the Holy Spirit to go and share the good news. That same Holy Spirit is a part of you by your Baptism - and someday your Confirmation!

Scripture for the week
May the God of hope fill you with
all joy and peace as you trust in him,
so that you may overflow with hope by
the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13
Positive Reading Quote
We'll be alive again in a thousand blades of grass,
and a million leaves;
we'll be falling in the raindrops,
and blowing in the fresh breeze;
we'll be glittering in the dew
under the stars and moon
and there in the physical world,
which is our true home
and always was.

Put the knives, forks and spoons in the right place. Share the before dinner prayer that we say in school or write your own.
Can you create an Easter Garden – Use what you can find outside in your garden. Sequence Holy Week on pebbles.
Make a palm leave and shout ‘Hosanna’ in the garden
‘Easter Egg Hunt’ – You could put number calculations on your eggs and year 3 spellings – Hide your eggs, set your child a clue…
Good Luck

A reminder that swimming is on Thursday afternoon and PE is on Friday afternoon.
We have started back to swimming and the children are trying very hard. Yesterday Kwabena received the first certificate of the term.
We hope you had a lovely Christmas and wish you a happy new year.
Below are some photos of the children's celebrations before Christmas.
The children have settled beautifully into the year 3 setting. Mrs Parker and Mrs Stanoch are really pleased with how hard they are working. This half term they are historians, learning all about the Stone age and Scientists and Geologists learning all about Rocks.
Story Stop Session
The children enjoyed sharing their stories with their adults, siblings and friends.
