which is our true home

Mrs Parker and Mrs Stanoch

Year 3 class teacher/assistant

Welcome to Year 3

A reminder that swimming is on Thursday afternoon and PE is on Friday afternoon.

Lunch with Mrs Parker.

We  have started back to swimming and the children are trying very hard. Yesterday Kwabena received the first certificate of the term.

Before Christmas our Topic was Ancient Egyptians. Below are some lovely pyramids  that the children made for home learning.

We hope you had a lovely Christmas and wish you a happy new year.

Below are some photos of the children's celebrations before Christmas.

The children have settled beautifully into the year 3 setting. Mrs Parker and Mrs Stanoch are really pleased with how hard they are working. This half term they are historians, learning all about the Stone age and Scientists and Geologists learning all about Rocks.

In our English lesson we have been reading a lovely story called Flotsam by David Wiesner and have done some amazing persuasive writing.

Story Stop Session

The children enjoyed sharing their stories with their adults, siblings and friends.
