Stay and Play at Annie's Place

What a lovely morning! We had fun at Annie's place with our first ever stay and play. Join us next Wednesday from 9 until 10.

Annie's Place

At St. Anne's we believe in developing children's life skills. This is where Annie's place will be a home from home for our children and hopefully their families. Children need to understand how what they do at school relates to everyday life and Annie's place will be a central part of this incredible journey that we take our children on.

A special visit!!!

What a wonderful morning! We had Siobhan Fitzpatrick the GB Para-Olympic Basketball player come and talk to our children. The children asked amazing questions and were in awe of Siobhan's drive and determination. What an inspiration to us all.

Year two then had the privilege of listening to Siobhan read them a story.

Just look at St. Anne's crop!

Good morning children. Today is Autism Awareness Day and below are some fum activities that you can do with your adults to help you understand Autism better. There is also a story that Oscar Taylor from year 3 has shared. This is his favourite Aspergers story about a boy called Issac and his Amazing Aspergers Super Powers. Why don't you do something different today like wearing odd socks. Send photos.

Mr and Mrs Parker are wearing these for the day!

Story-Stop 10.9.19

What a fabulous start to the school year; today's Story-Stop saw a record number of adults come into classrooms to share a story. Thank you to all of you!

After receiving your feedback, we have scheduled our next Story-Stop at the end of the school day to cater for those who cannot make it in the mornings. Many of you also asked for the session to be longer, however currently we feel 30 minutes is an ideal time as so not to impact on lesson time.

Another big thank you, we look forward to seeing you next half-term!

Another Story Stop. We love reading at St. Anne's!

On Friday 28th June we had our Summer Fair. It was lovely to see so many parents supporting the school. The Chocolate Tombola seemed to be the main focus.

The whole school took part in a Science day on Tuesday 18th June. It was a fantastic day, just look at what the staff and children got up to...
