More and more learning this week!
Week Beginning 30th March 2020
We have been learning at Home!
Week Beginning 23rd March 2020
What a fabulous start to the school year; today's Story-Stop saw a record number of adults come into classrooms to share a story. Thank you to all of you!
After receiving your feedback, we have scheduled our next Story-Stop at the end of the school day to cater for those who cannot make it in the mornings. Many of you also asked for the session to be longer, however currently we feel 30 minutes is an ideal time as so not to impact on lesson time.
Another big thank you, we look forward to seeing you next half-term!
The children had a fabulous time decoration glasses, biscuits, cards and other creative activities for their wonderful mums. Happy Mother's Day.
St. Anne's does World Book Day!
What an amazing World Book Day it has been! Thank you to all our lovely children (and their adults) and all staff who came to school dressed as book characters, you all made a huge effort!
During our morning assembly, classes were gifted with a mystery book, once back in their classes they discovered that their book was wordless and took part in a variety of activities linked to their book; we had poetry, drama, artwork and story writing to name a few!
After break, adults in school wanted to share a story with children, after advertising their book to the whole school children decided which story they wanted to hear and went to that adult. Then it was the children's turn - all children shared a story with a child from a different class. Some activities even continued into the afternoon.
All children have their £1 World Book Token voucher - which can be used to get a FREE book (from the World Book Day selection) or £1 off a book. Please see reverse side of voucher for where they can be redeemed.
Well done and thank you St. Anne's!
Our Cluster Spelling Bee entrants did St. Anne's proud during last week's Spelling Bee Final at Micheal Drayton Primary School. Our finalists each did a superb job in their categories and brought home two 2nd places and two 3rd places!!!
