Welcome to St. Anne’s Catholic Academy. I hope you find our website informative and reflective of life here at St. Anne’s.
Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important responsibilities you undertake. Our mission is to make Jesus Christ known to our children by leading them on their journey of faith: by respecting the uniqueness of each individual child, pursuing excellence in all that we do and working in partnership with parents and the wider community.
We are a school and a church community, a family, promoting core gospel values of compassion, respect for self and others, responsibility and honesty. This is embedded through our faith in God and salvation in Jesus Christ. We aim to promote a caring Catholic atmosphere, whilst following a Christian ethos, whereby each child feels ‘special’, valued and safe. Our school is a part of the Catholic Education System, and functions in partnership with the Diocese of Birmingham, this partnership allows parents to have children educated in Religion and Values.
Everyone at St. Anne's shares high expectations for all of our children and supports them to reach their God given potential. The curriculum we offer is broad and balanced and inline with national directives. We constantly review and evaluate the achievements of the school and aim to provide both high academic standards and an opportunity to live the Catholic faith. We strive to promote the values of our Christian faith throughout our daily life. Learning and teaching at St Anne’s aims to develop each child’s knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith.
St Anne’s strives to achieve its aims through a strong partnership between governors, staff, children, parents and parish. These partnerships are highly valued by the school, as we feel that they form the basis to each child’s success at St Anne’s.
We would be pleased to show parents around our school, so that the atmosphere and ethos can be experienced first hand. We welcome this as an opportunity to explain our aims and to be able to answer any questions that you may have.
