Over the past few years we have been constantly refreshing our Computing hardware whenever possible.
Each classroom now has an Interactive Whiteboard (IWB), laptop, data projector and visualiser. Around the school are a number of workstations that can accessed by adults and/or children for group or individual purposes. We have a class set of laptops securely kept in heavy duty trolleys for ease of movement between classrooms. All laptops are linked to our whole school wireless network which allows greater flexibility in creating and retrieving data. Through the hard work of our Helping Hands group, we have been able to compliment our laptops with 15 iPads. We also have a number of control devices, recording equipment and various other computing devices to help with the delivery of our computing curriculum.
Each individual child has a unique log-on enabling the to access both the software installed on our network, and our filtered internet access. Each user name is linked to the child's own e-mail address, provided by Warwickshire County Council, which allows a safe, monitored introduction to the world of e-mail. Children also gain access to the school portal, providing numerous resources to advance their learning across the whole curriculum.
